| Brief Description: Students will practice Latin conversation and numbers by bargaining with a Roman landlady, just as Flaccus and Quintus did in the Oxford Latin text. Students will increase their knowledge of housing conditions for the lower classes and what the poorer sections of Rome were like. Students will practice reading and writing in Latin in an enjoyable conversational framework in which they have a real goal; they will also practice narrative skills in Latin through writing a letter home. | ||||
