Leaving the Forum Boarium, you pass through the Porta Trigemina, a large gate in the Servian Wall, and enter Region XIII, which includes the Aventine Hill and Rome'e harbour district, a bustling commercial center filled with docks, wharves, and storehouses for the importation of goods from all over the known world.
