Stairs to the Temple of Ceres, Liber, and Libera

A flight of 12 steps rises in front of you. You climb the first six steps and then look back toward the Clivus Publicius. The road is crowded with traffic. You see a pickpocket grab a man's purse and run up the Aventine. You shake your head, but realize there's nothing you can do, so you turn back to the steps and continue up to the top.
