The first effect of entering a University is that when you enter the University, you start missing your old friends. Due to this fact that you have to study in different cities, you split apart your friends and feel sad. This doesn’t mean you are never going to see your friends again, but it isn’t the same to be at school without your best friends.
The second effect of entering a university is the fact that you have to get acquainted with the entire university environment. Being at junior high or at high school is completely different than being in a university, so you have to learn how to survive in it. During university studies you have to search for your own way to success because at a university, teachers are not going to solve your problems.
The third and most important effect of entering a university is the responsible behavior you must develop during your way through the university. During university studies you are in charge of your life and of the decisions that you make such as doing or not doing homework, going or not going to class, etc.

The first effect of cigarette smoking, and probably the one that the non-smokers hate the most, is that it permeates everything around it. Smokers usually have smelly hair, breath, clothes, and, if they smoke indoors, a smelly room..
The second effect of cigarette smoking is one that most people don’t even take into consideration. As a result of it the teeth get yellow or sometimes even brown. Since this effect is long term, most people are not aware of it when they begin smoking.
The third effect of smoking is that it affects the smoker’s personal economy. Depending on the country the prices of cigarettes can differ. But even at an affordable price the regular consumption of cigarettes will eventually take its economic toll.

Living away from your country can be a really interesting and unforgettable experience, but at the same time it has very important effects on one's life. The purpose of this essay is to discuss the three main effects that living in another country can produce in your personal life.
The major effect is that once you start a regular life away from home, you miss everything. This fact doesn't mean that you are unhappy but that you are aware of being on your own. You leave your country; therefore, you miss your family and the attention they all paid to you. Living in a foreign country also leads to missing all the facilities you used to have at home, like your house, your car, your bed, and your bathroom.
The second main effect would be learning how to accept another type of society and culture into your daily life. You are living in a place with different customs and traditions from yours; consequently, you have to be able to develop yourself in unknown conditions. This means making new friends, learning other points of view, accepting different opinions and values. Therefore, you'll be able to achieve true knowledge
The most significant effect of living away from home is the independent behavior that grows inside of you. Getting a lot of experiences toward organizing your life is the result of living on your own far from your family. Due to this fact, you have to clean your room, wash your clothes, and organize your expenses.

When the television was invented in 1923, parents had no idea of the harmful effects this celebrated invention would one day have on children. Because of the tremendous amount of time children spend watching TV, they become passive observers. Child psychologists say that children learn best by doing, not by watching. As a result, television has a negative effect on children‟s learning abilities and their creativity. Since the children spend more time in front of the TV and less time behind a good book, their reading abilities have also suffered. Another harmful effect of television is caused by the excessive violence in many popular programs. Studies show that aggressive behavior in children is a direct result of this violence. Young people imitate the behavior they see on TV. Consequently, youngsters have been known to “fly” out of windows like Superman and kill their enemies like the Joker. For all these reasons, television has evolved from the miracle it once was into the monster it is today.

The thick smoke that is seen in the morning hours is not really due to somebody else, but rather due to each and every one of us. Each person is responsible for the situation that we face today. There are 3 main factors that contribute to air pollution. They are carbon dioxide, transportation vehicles and the usage of fossil fuels.

Air pollution is a result of carbon dioxide emitted from other sources which are caused due to human activities. Carbon dioxide is used in oil and chemical industries. The manufacturing process of most products would require the use of this gas.
Cars, trucks, jet airplanes and other combustion engine vehicles lead to the release of several primary pollutants into the air. Air pollution results from the exhaust coming out of these vehicles and this exhaust contain carbon monoxide. As a result of this type of air pollution, smoke is created which is the reason for respiratory health problems and holes in the ozone layer.

Air pollution also results from factories, office buildings, homes and power-generating stations that burn fossil fuels. The burning of oil and coal (fossil fuels) also contributes to smoke. This air pollution is so harmful that destroys plants, damages buildings and creates oxidation on iron.
