Upper Galleries of the Basilica Julia

Hang over the railings from the galleries: what do you see? The four wooden screens are up; jurors are seated at their benches, while advocates gesticulate and orate before them. What a great view from up here! These high galleries also provide a wonderful view of the Roman Forum outside (see this view of the Curia from the upper galleries of the basilica), especially good for observing triumphal parades.
