You walk around to the left side of the Ara Gentis Iuliae. Here's another large relief sculpture. Men with axes prepare to kill a bull. You notice the large, eight-columned temple in the background of the scene. You recognize it from your visit to the Forum of Augustus as the Temple of Mars Ultor, erected by Augustus, one of the most prominent members of the Julian clan.
