Priest of Claudius

You see a priest devoted to the worship of the Deified Claudius. In Rome, such a priest of the imperial cult was called a sacerdos or a flamen because this priesthood was modeled upon Rome's most ancient college of priests, the flamines, each of whom was dedicated to the service of a single deity. This wall painting depicts a priest sacrificing a bull. Because of their power (and also their expense), bulls were considered particularly appropriate sacrifices for emperors.

This priest has special prophetic abilities, so you may be able to find out something about your future from him. Click activate to speak with him; when you have no more questions, click hush.
