Hortus Brollii

Here you see that you have entered one of the most beautiful gardens in Rome. You have entered the Hortus Brollii. Surrounding this enormous room is a covered walkway. The remainder of the room is uncovered, and the sun shines down. As you look around, you see massive amounts of colorful flowers. You notice with your experienced eyes that most of the flowers in the garden are red. Something catches your eye as it flickers by. You turn to see many tiny hummingbirds hovering and feeding at all of the red-flowered plants. They are so graceful and you stand for a minute to watch. You also see the huge oval Piscina in the middle of the Hortus. In it swim exotic fish from all over the empire.
