You see a cupboard faced with marble whose stepped shelves contain bread, a bowl of figs, and several kinds of drinking vessels.

These are here for your use: type /take name-of-object from cupboard (be sure to include the slash). Then type /eat name-of-object or /drink from name-of-object in order to have a virtual drink or taste.

Please be sure to put the object away before you leave (by typing /put name-of-object in cupboard), or you can give it to someone else in the Thermopolium by typing /give name-of-object to Name-of-Person.
