Aedicula Victoriae Virginis

This small structure, dwarfed by the two large temples on either side, was dedicated to the "Virgin Victory" in 193 BCE by the famous Roman orator Marcus Portius Cato. The image you see here is a Greek coin, but it conveys well the image of Victoria as a young maiden.
