Cella of Venus

The sunlight streams in from the door behind you as you find yourself in a large room lit with flickering torches. Along the walls are numerous votive gifts. At the end of the room is the enormous statue of Venus Felix, seated upon a throne and holding a Victory in her right hand and a long sceptre in her left.
