LATRINE

At the corner of the PERISTYLE you come to the LATRINE. Quite small in size, you enter to take a look. So far removed from the main house, the LATRINE appears to be used infrequently, probably only by the slaves. It too, like the SLAVE QUARTERS, CULINA, and STABLE, has the appearance of hasty construction. You assume that these rooms were all added at once, as an afterthought, not really to be seen by guests.
