Bibliotheca

As you enter the cubiculum to the west of the atrium, you see that Cornelia has designed the room as a bibliotheca (library). Here she taught her daughter and sons to read before they were old enough for a tutor. Two cushioned stools stand near a small table on which you see a capsa filled with scrolls.
