Bowls

Covering most of the available space in the room are BOWLS, some filled with freshly prepared food and some still standing empty. These are in a pile waiting to be used by the cook at any moment. They are terracotta, very common in this area, and will probably only be used here in the KITCHEN. For the dinner later, the more expensive dinnerware will be used; bronze and silver. However, even these common bowls have designs embedded near the rim. With the smell of such wonderful food making dinner seem too far away, you turn to leave the CULINA.
