As you look up at the COLUMNS that line the PERISTYLE GARDEN, you see a series of marble OSCILLA that are hung between the COLUMNS. The ones here are alternating theatre masks with gaping mouths and extensive carving detail. You remember Cornelius telling you last week, that the work on his PERISTYLE had just been completed. You assume that these OSCILLA were part of that renovation.
