cista
A wooden box filled with embroidered veils (stola) that various worshipers brought to her as gifts.
You may use the following commands to open the chest and handle the silk stola that is inside: open cista, close cista, take silk stola out of cista.
[The carbonized chest in the picture has bracket marks for hanging a cabinet (so-called "cross") in upstairs cubiculum. It was found in Herculaneum in the so-called House of the Bicentenary; it dates in the first century CE.]
It is empty.
