strigil

The Romans often rubbed oil on their bodies before exercise, which they typically carried in a small round flask like this bronze one. When they were ready for the baths, they used a curved metal implement called a strigil to scrape the oil, dirt, and sweat from their body. For ease of carrying, strigils and flask could be attached with a chain.

If you would like to try it out, pick up the strigil and type /scrape me with strigil; to clean another person who is here with you, type /scrape Name-of-Person with strigil (don't forget the slash).
