You are underneath the cavea (the seating area), walking along one of the two lofty arched corridors of the first floor that encircle the entire building. You must find the section that is appropriate for your social status and gender. Please follow carefully the signs, because it is strictly forbidden to sit in the wrong section. Enter the vomitorium (the corridor that leads directly to the cavea) now or climb the staircase to the next level. In case of emergency, please notice where the vomitoria are located in your section; the closest vomitorium may be right behind you.
