This is the place where I usually receive visitors.It is the atrium of my home. You will notice that the floor is done in mosaics, some more elaborate than others. You probably have noticed the impluvium, the basin to collect water. The rain comes from the compluvium in the ceiling. We use the water for cooking and cleaning, to augment what we get from the public aqueduct. But you are special, so come on into my Tablinum.
