Cella (Latin)

You are looking into the three cellae, the sacred sanctuaries of the temple containing the cult statues of the three Capitoline deities. Normally this part of the temple is closed to view by the massive coffered bronze doors, gleaming with their gold coating, but today is a festival and the doors are wide open.
