Lalage's studiolum

A room of modest proportions which opens onto the atrium. Its vaulted ceiling is decorated in a black, red, and white checkerboard design which matches the checkerboard mosaic floor. An oak writing table sits against the wall facing the door; sphinxes serve as legs to support the writing surface. A cupboard along the right hand wall contains scrolls and writing materials.
