Portae Somni
There are two Gates of Sleep,
of which one is said to be made of horn;
through this an easy exit
is given to true shades.
The other, shining with gleaming ivory,
is beautifully made,
but through it the Underworld Spirits
send false dreams to the world above.
(Vergil, Aeneid 6.893-6)
You have just passed through the Gates of Sleep and entered a realm that is bounded only by the limits of your imagination. Here you may build your own rooms and fill them with objects. We ask only that your creations retain some flavor of ancient Rome.
This is an example of something written on the Blackboard (which needs a more Roman manifestation).
