Central Forum

The central forum is a very busy place; hundreds of people are running about, making business transactions at the Macellum/Market Hall, visiting the temples of their Gods and Goddesses, and dealing with politics, law, and justice with the basilica and the tribunal.
Although damaged by an earthquake and then ten years later, a volcano, the forum still stands, a tribute to the economic, political, and social power of the Roman Empire
