Palaestra (Excercise Room)

You have now entered the Palaestra (workout field). It is a large playing field surrounded by stone pillars and doorways connecting the other rooms in the Bath. The Palaestra is used for excercise and for working out. Today you can see men throwing the discus and the javelin.
